Hiking trails of Bohemian Switzerland
Way 1
Pravcicka brana - Divoka a Ticha souteka (Pravcicka gate, Wild and Calm Coombs)
Wonderful trip to the most beautiful spots of Bohemian Switzerland.
Hrensko - Tri prameny - Pravcicka brana (odbocka) - Mezni Louka - Nad soutěskami - Divoká soutěska - Tichá soutěska - Hřensko

 Setting-off point: Hřensko.
Car park: Hrensko, in the village or behind the restaurant Klepac (it is closer to the trail).
Duration: 5 - 6 hours (15km walk + 1,5 km ferryboat).
Difficulty: easy trail following the marked paths. Except for a short gradient to Pravcicka brana, the path is gently rising and falling.
Food: Restaurant and buffet in Falcon's nest with 19th century interiors right next to Pravcicka brana, Restaurant U Forta in Mezni Louka, Buffet in Ticha souteska / Calm Coomb, restaurants and boarding houses in Hrensko.

Way 2
Arnoltice - Růžová - Janov
Trip with gorgeous views and windmills.
Hřensko - údolí Suché Kamenice - Arnoltické stěny - Arnoltice - Růžová - Hájenky - Janov- Labská vyhlídka - Hřensko

Setting-off point: Hřensko.
Car park: Hřensko, it is possible to start from another village (Arnoltice, Růžová, Janov) but Hrensko offers the best parking possibilities.
Duration: 4,5 - 5 hours (17 km).
Difficulty: easy trail following the marked paths. Numerous rises and fallings.
Food: restaurants and boarding houses in Hřensko, Arnoltice, Růžová a Janov, restaurant at the mouth of the Suchá Kamenice River.
Sights:
mouth of the Suchá Kamenice river Canyon (Dry Kamenice) - the sandstone rocks of unbelievable shapes
Růžová - baroque church with wooden belfry
Hájenky - untouched nature, views of Grosser Zschirnstein and Zirkelstein
Janov - Dutch type wind mill built in 1844
Labská vyhlídka - lookout terrace offering wonderful views of the Elbe and Kamenice Rivers
Way 3
Šaunštejn - Ptačí kámen
Up to the robbers' castle.
Mezní Louka - Nad Soutěskami - Ptačí kámen - Vysoká Lípa - Šaunštejn (Loupežnický hrad) - Malá Pravčická brána - Mezní Louka

Car park: Mezní Louka.
Duration: 3 hours (11 km).
Difficulty: easy trail mostly following the marked paths. The difficult parts of the trail are rise to Malá Pravčická brána and ascent to Šaunštejn.
Food: Hotel Lípa and restaurant U Loupežáku in Vysoka Lípa, restaurants in Mezni Louka.
Sights:
lookout terrace Ptačí kámen
Castle Šaunštejn - rock, on the top of which there used to stand a mediaeval castle. Very exciting place with wonderful views
Malá Pravčická brána (Small Pravcicka brana) - sandstone arch similar to Pravcicka brana though substantially smaller in size
Way 4
Belvedér
Along the right bank of the Elbe River to the picturesque views.
Děčín (nemocnice) - Stoličná hora - Nad Loubím - Růžový hřeben - Pod Kamenským vrchem - Belvedér - Labská Stráň - údolí Suché Kamenice - Hřensko

Setting-off point:Děčín; bus No 7 last stop (U nemocnice - Hospital) or the opposite direction - starting in Hřensko.
Car park: both sides right in the beginning of the trail.
Duration: 5 hours (18 km).
Difficulty: easy trail following the marked paths. The only difficult part of the trail is the rise to Stoličná hora.
Food: hotel Belvedér, cafe in Labská Strán, restaurants and boarding houses in Hřensko.
Sights:
the top of Stoličná hora which is called "Empire view", an obelisk in the lookout terrace was constructed in 1879 in honour of Emperor Franz Joseph's marriage
Sněžnická vyhlídka - lookout terrace in Děčínský Sněžník, the highest peak of the Elbe Sandstones
Labská stráž - from the lookout terrace with a bower which offers picturesque sight of the River Elbe valley
Růžový hřeben - gorgeous view of the Elbe riverbed. One of the most beautiful sights in Bohemian Switzerland
Belvedér - terrace on a sandstone rock, situated at a height of 160m above the River Elbe. It was built in the beginning of the 18th century and served as a stage for concerts to entertain the nobility who came here form a nearby castle in Bynovec. In 1841 an austere wooden construction was built there, but in 1888 it was replaced with a house, which up to now offers its services to the tourists
The Suchá Kamenice Canyon - romantic canyon of a small river, which remains dry most of the year
Way 5
Jetřichovické skály / Jetrichovice Rocks
On the crest to the lookouts.
Jetřichovice - Mariina skála - Vilemínina stěna - Purkartický les - Rudolfův kámen - Pohovka - Česká silnice - Šaunštejn (odbočka) - Vysoká Lípa - Dolský mlýn - údolí Jetřichovické Bělé - Jetřichovice

Car park: In the village centre, next to the restaurant Praha or at a small parking spot near the children's sanatorium.
Duration: 4,5 hours (14 km).
Difficulty: easy trail mostly following the marked paths.
Food: restaurants and boarding houses in Jetrichovice and Vysoka Lipa.
Sights:
Mary's rock (Mariina skála) - fabulous panorama. Even Lužické Mountains and České Středohoří could be seen from there
Tetřevny - huge rock tips where local people used to hide during the wars. They served also as an asylum for grouse hunters, which is reflected in the name of the place (tetřev = grouse)
Rodolph's Stone (Rudolfův kámen) - climbing this highest lookout you will be rewarded for your effort with astonishing view
Robbers' castle Šaunštejn (Loupežnický hrádek -Šaunštejn)
Dolský mill (Dolský mlýn) - the ruins of a former water mill, which was first mentioned as early as 1515
Way 6
Falkenštejn - Rynartice - Pavlínino údolí
Climb to the inaccessible castle.
Jetřichovice - (Falkenštejn) - Haťový důl - Pod Suchým vrchem - Rynartice - Pavlínino údolí - Jetřichovice

Duration: 4 hours (14 km).
Difficulty: with an exception of rise to Falkenštejn, which might be left out, it is considerably an easy trail following the marked paths.
Food: restaurants and boarding houses in Rynartice and Jetřichovice.
Sights:
Rocky castle Falkenštejn (skalní hrad Falkenštejn) - from the top of the rock, where a castle used to stand, a wonderful panorama awaits you. Only spaces carved into the stone remained of the ancient castle. You may see the rests of the main chamber with window, a chapel and a former water reservoir
Dwarf's Rock (Trpasličí skála) - in 19th century an unknown master carved Snow White and seven dwarfs into the rocks. Try to find them
Paulin's valley (Pavlínino údolí) - romantic rock valley covered with forests and interlaced with the River Chřibska Kamenice
Way 7
Velký doubický okruh / Big Doubice Circle
Across the remotest parts of Bohemian Switzerland.
Doubice - Kyjovské údolí - Turistický most - Zadní Doubice - Hadí pramen - Hřebcový důl - Černá brána - Zadní mostový důl - Paneneská jedle - Na Tokání - Příkré schody - Bor - Doubice

Duration:8 hours (28 km).
Difficulty: a long trail demanding a whole day trip with numerous rises and fallings. It follows very well marked paths.
Food: restaurants and boarding houses in Doubice (we recommend to visit restaurant Stara hospoda), restaurant Na Tokání.

Duration: 4 hours (13 km).
Difficulty: easy trail following the marked paths with two more difficult parts: rise to the Rosy Hill = Růžovský vrch (400m high) and to the Royal spruce tree = Královský smrk (100 m rise)
Food: restaurants in Srbska Kamenice.
